Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FlexTickets (the "Platform"), operated by Technology Value Limited ("FlexTickets", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, browsing events, or purchasing a ticket on FlexTickets, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who We Are

FlexTickets is an online ticketing platform that allows event organizers to list events and allows users to discover, purchase, and manage tickets to those events. We act as a ticketing intermediary between organizers and attendees; we are not the organizer of third-party events listed on the Platform unless explicitly stated.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and purchase tickets. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@myflextickets.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Tickets and Purchases

• All ticket prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated, and are inclusive of any applicable processing fee shown at checkout.
• A ticket purchase is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed by our payment partners (including Paystack, Stripe, or Interswitch) and a confirmation email or ticket has been issued to you.
• Tickets are issued subject to availability. In rare cases of a system error resulting in overselling, we will offer a full refund or, where possible, a comparable alternative.
• Each ticket typically contains a unique QR code for entry verification. Do not share your ticket publicly (including on social media) as this may allow it to be used by someone else before you arrive.
• Student ticket discounts, where offered, require a valid student ID to be presented at the venue. FlexTickets and the event organizer reserve the right to deny entry or charge the price difference if proof of eligibility is not provided.

4. Refunds, Cancellations, and Event Changes

• Tickets are generally non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law or explicitly permitted by the event organizer's stated refund policy.
• If an event is cancelled by the organizer, you will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price, or a credit/transfer to a rescheduled date where offered, in line with the organizer's published policy communicated to you.
• If an event is postponed, your existing ticket will generally remain valid for the new date. We will notify you by email and/or SMS of any changes to an event you hold a ticket for.
• FlexTickets is not responsible for losses (including travel or accommodation costs) arising from an event cancellation, postponement, or venue change made by an organizer.

5. Buying Tickets for Others

When you purchase a ticket on behalf of another person, you confirm that you are authorized to provide their contact details to us and that they consent to receive their ticket and event-related communications from FlexTickets.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to defraud FlexTickets, an organizer, or another user.
• Resell tickets at a price above face value where prohibited by the organizer or applicable law, or attempt to bulk-purchase tickets using automated tools (bots).
• Forge, duplicate, or tamper with tickets or QR codes.
• Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the security or performance of the Platform.

We reserve the right to cancel tickets and suspend or terminate accounts involved in any of the above without refund.

7. Referrals, Promotions, and Ambassador Codes

Referral codes, promo codes, and ambassador discounts are subject to the specific terms communicated for each promotion and may be withdrawn or modified at any time. Any attempt to abuse a promotional code (including creating multiple accounts) may result in forfeiture of the associated discount or account suspension.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including the FlexTickets name, logo, and software, is owned by or licensed to Technology Value Limited and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without our written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlexTickets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or attendance at an event, including but not limited to conduct at a venue by an organizer, other attendees, or third parties. Our total liability for any claim relating to a ticket purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for that ticket.

10. Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on third-party providers for payments (Paystack, Stripe, Interswitch), email (Resend), and SMS (SMSLive247) delivery. We are not responsible for outages or errors caused by these third-party providers, though we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in resolving any related issues.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or by email. Continued use of FlexTickets after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
